Welcome to Noah Meets Scottie

Hi, I'm Steffi. Founder, designer, and proud dog mom of three very special four-legged friends: Noah, Scottie, and Philipp. Dogs are my greatest passion, and I love sharing my life with my three boys. This love inspired my passion project: an online shop for stylish dog collars, comfortable dog harnesses, personalized dog tags, and jewelry for dog owners. Lovingly designed, durable, and always with comfort and style in mind. Many of my collections are also seasonal: from festive Christmas models to spring floral designs and light, summery collars and earrings.

 

 

How "Noah Meets Scottie" Came to Be

Before Scottie and Philipp moved in, there was just my Noah.

Noah came to me in 2012 and was my first own dog. He is a Spitz-Dachshund mix and, in the early years, pushed me to my limits more than once. Other dogs were a big problem for him. As soon as he saw a dog, he'd go wild. He wanted to go over, snap, and chase them away. He wasn't always friendly to strangers either. Because of him, I sat on my kitchen floor and cried more than once, spending countless hours training. Nevertheless, I would never have traded my Noah for an easier dog.

Over time and with a lot of training, things got better, and I learned a lot about my Noah, but also about dogs in general. I took the advice of my vet at the time particularly to heart: Noah didn't have to like other dogs. But it was my responsibility to show and teach Noah how to deal with them without always completely losing his temper. And I took this responsibility seriously, guiding Noah in the right direction through much training and patience.

Years later, the moment many dog owners probably know arrived: the crucial question of a second dog. For us, this question was answered with Scottie.

Scottie came to us in 2017 from a kill shelter in Romania. He had previously lived on the streets and was now to become part of our little family. While I was surprisingly unconcerned about Scottie himself, another question preoccupied me all the more: How would Noah react?

Because one thing was clear: Noah didn't need a dog buddy. He would probably have been happy as a lone prince.

Of course, I worried. I prepared myself for it to be difficult. That we would have to train. That the two might clash again and again and that we would have to overcome some challenges.

And then everything turned out completely differently.

From day one, Scottie was just there, as if he had always belonged to us. There were no conflicts, no arguments, and no acclimatization phase. Scottie was simply there.

To this day, I can't explain why it worked so smoothly between the two. Perhaps it was Scottie's calm, confident nature. He is a dog with an incredibly long fuse, great serenity, and an aura that often relaxes other dogs.

Or perhaps Noah simply knew that Scottie was our missing puzzle piece. The other missing puzzle piece, by the way, is Philipp – more on him later.

The name "Noah Meets Scottie" arose precisely from this special story.

 

My Three Greatest Inspirations

 

Noah

Noah came to me at six months old because his previous family no longer wanted him. What began back then with a small Spitz-Dachshund mix evolved over the years into a bond that I can hardly put into words. We have overcome countless challenges together, grown together, and built mutual trust over many years. Noah sometimes drove me to the brink of madness, but at the same time, he taught me more about dogs than any book or dog school. After almost 14 years together, we know each other implicitly. He is my first own dog, my most loyal companion, and will always remain my soul dog.

Scottie 

In 2017, Scottie moved in with us from a Romanian kill shelter. The former street dog was initially a bit overweight and cautious around men. Today, that's hard to imagine. Scottie loves sunny spots, good food, and every cuddle he can get. But what truly makes Scottie special is his demeanor. He is incredibly confident, has seemingly endless patience, and is rarely rattled. Perhaps that's why he, of all dogs, was accepted by Noah from the very beginning. Scottie brings calm to our pack and reminds me every day that you don't have to be loud to make an impression. At his proud 11 years old, he's also becoming increasingly stubborn, and after a 5-minute walk, he's done. But he is also the bravest of my three dogs, as he has had to undergo surgery for perianal adenomas every year for the past 6 years and mastered it perfectly. That's why Scottie has absolute carte blanche with me :-)

Philipp

Since 2022, Philipp has been part of our family. No one really knows why we call him "the little one," because he's the biggest of my three dogs. Philipp also came to us from Romania and brought one thing above all: fear. The first few months were marked by caution, patience, and many small steps. The little one trusted me from day one, but some things that are natural for other dogs were a real challenge for him. Today, Philipp is still a very easily startled dog, but at the same time, he is curious, full of energy, and seemingly constantly wired. He wants to be everywhere, loves being the center of attention, and took Noah and Scottie into his heart from day one. One of the most beautiful moments for me was the day Philipp was finally allowed to walk off-leash after years. That was a milestone I never thought possible. When I look at Philipp today, I no longer see a fearful dog. I see a dog who has arrived. And that makes me happy every single time.

My Passion

At Noah Meets Scottie, we create products that combine design, comfort, quality, and durability. I want every collar, every harness, every dog tag, and every piece of jewelry to bring joy in everyday life and on special occasions. Because for me, dog accessories are more than just practical; they are an expression of the special bond between human and dog. My goal: stylish, functional, and lovingly crafted accessories that will accompany you for a long time and always put a smile on your face.
